Enchantress Handbook

The Enchantress Handbook is based on a wide variety of sources (particularly Callipygia website) as well as our own experience.

It is intended as a reference, a refresher and training source for ourselves and our sailing friends.

The Enchantress pages contain information about the boat and a selection of pictures. "Enchantress" is an Aphrodite 42 made in Sweden at the same boat yard as Najad. The name Enchantress comes from 'Aphrodite'. It is said Aphrodite the Greek Goddess, could make any man fall in love with her by them just laying eyes on her. Don't tell Susan as she thinks it is named after her. The picture is from a cartoon character called Enchantress.

Enchantress has gone through 4 names, originally it was called 'Branco', then 'Tearabout' followed by 'Wind on Loch Fyne'. We asked for suggestions from friends and chose Enchantress.
