Starting the trip

From El Rompido to Gibraltar

Changing flags again - from Portuguese to Spanish

Some of the hundreds of boats on the river up to El Rompido - probably at least a thousand!

Looking across the marina, we were anchored next to, to El Rompido

The boat anchored in the river.

Susan doing her artistic bit!

Another artistic picture.

Approaching Cadiz

DLS trying out our new shopping trolley system. It actually works very well and can hold lots of beer etc.

One of the amazing trees along the frontage at Cadiz

Part of the nice plaza that goes quite a bit round old Cadiz.

One of the nice churches.

Looking across to the fort walls on the seafront.

The Cadiz skyline with the cathedral dome in the background.

The back of the Cathedral.

A spectacular monument!

A wind farm on the Spanish coast on the approach to the Gibraltar cost. I thinkm the were about 500 turbines.

Approaching the Tarifa headland which we anchored behind.

One of the large ships going up and down the Gibraltar Straits. The looked like islands they were so big.

Enchantress berthed in Gibraltar marina with the "rock" behind it. You can only see part way up due to the cloud.

One of the superyachts in the harbour, this one was just lifting a speed boat back into the stern on the boat.

The Gib runway which goes right alonside the marina.

Looking over at the rock on a sunny day.

Looking across to Spain, just across the runway.

Just about a plane landing on the runway - Susan wasn't quite quick enough! Need to get her in training!

Looking at the quayside at the marina.

Some of the BWR boats with their flags flying.
