GIBRALTAR

Gibraltar Pictures

One of the large ships going up and down the Gibraltar Straits. The looked like islands they were so big.

Enchantress berthed in Gibraltar marina with the "rock" behind it. You can only see part way up due to the cloud.

One of the superyachts in the harbour, this one was just lifting a speed boat back into the stern on the boat.

The Gib runway which goes right alonside the marina.

Looking over at the rock on a sunny day.

Looking across to Spain, just across the runway.

Just about a plane landing on the runway - Susan wasn't quite quick enough! Need to get her in training!

Looking at the quayside at the marina.

Some of the BWR boats with their flags flying.

One of the local Gibraltar inhabitants going for a stroll!

DLS testing out the mast steps - no it wasn't just for fun!

Susan in the Gib caves

We had to climb up and down numerous slopes, through narrow passages and across ledges.

One of the amazing natural structures.

One of the "curtains" in the caves.

More curtains.

Leaving Gibraltar for Smir

A rare picture of Susan and I together under sail.

This is Pete from Fai Tira, who joined us for the trip to Smir.

This is Roundabout, a Discovery 55, passing us on the way to Smir

Enchantress leaping over the waves.

What goes up must come down!!

Smir, Morocco in the background

The market in Smir

The inevitable carpet showing.

Looking down one of the valleys at Ronda in Spain

The old and spectacular bridge at Ronda.
